When batch checks fit
An authorized marketing, support or risk sample may need a consistent registered or not-registered signal across many numbers. Batch processing applies one rule and produces an export for downstream routing, such as an authorized Telegram workflow, an alternative channel, or one auxiliary risk feature. Define whether the need is only registration status or also malformed, disconnected and exception states because preparation depth differs.
Prepare the phone list
Deduplicate, normalize complete country-code notation, remove separators and impossible lengths, and group by country or range. Never assume a mixed-country file can infer every prefix. For tens of thousands of records, run a sample of roughly one thousand to confirm error rate and field compatibility with CRM or the warehouse before full submission.
Batching and cadence
Services use bounded batch size and queues rather than unlimited concurrency. Split within the documented limit, leave a short interval to review completion and logs, and prefer off-peak work where possible. Do not repeat a full list unless the source changed or a prior run timed out broadly. Retain batch ID and submission time and rerun only the failed subset.
Interpret fields correctly
Not registered means that the current method found no apparent Telegram association; it does not prove an invalid number or no historical use. Failed is not the same as not registered and needs retry or review. Registration state changes with cancellation, reassignment and platform privacy or account changes, so treat results as a dated snapshot. Store latest check date and define expiry before importing into contact or campaign systems.
Compliance and data security
Upload only numbers necessary for an authorized purpose, remove or mask results under policy, and avoid exposing full phone-to-social relationships externally. Confirm a lawful basis such as consent or contractual necessity before contact; technical discoverability is not permission. Limit operator roles and audit batch upload, result location and retention for incident response.
Pre-launch checklist
Confirm deduplication and country codes, successful pilot and mappings, separate failed and not-registered paths, downstream understanding of snapshot status, and retention and deletion. These steps make the process reusable and accountable rather than scaled-up manual work.
